They do the job! I have had problems fitting sofa covers so they did not keep riding up. These elastic straps are an ideal solution. They clip on so that they don't damage the material and the are adjustable so you can get them to fit the sofa perfectly.

Didn't think it was going to fit my sofa at first, but with the help of my son we did it.
It covers all the sofa front and back and looks lovely on. If you ever do a medium gray I might invest in another set.
